Roses Villas

This part of the Costa Brava is blessed with numerous fantastic beaches.

ROSES BEACH: Approximately a 3km stretch of beach, you can walk along the promenade to find many restaurants until the end of Santa Margarita.

CANYELLES PETITES: Is a beautiful cove with an award winning beach and choice of restaurants. You can walk along the coastal path from the lighthouse in Roses.

ALMADRAVA BEACH: Is one of the best in the area and has a choice of 3-4 restaurants during the summer months. This is another 10 minutes walk along the coastal path from Canyelles Petites.

Further along the coast in the drection of Cala Montjoi are many other secluded coves – many can only be reached on foot and some can only be accessed by boat, but they are worth the effort!

EMPURIABRAVA – “LA RUBINA”: A fantastic long, golden, sandy beach. At the far end there is even a beach especially for dog owners. The beach is dotted with beach bars, serving drinks and snacks. Many have music and parties at night.

SANT MARTI D’EMPURIES: Head through Sant Pere Pescador to find kms of beaches (especially popular with kite surfers). Sant Marti has a particularly beautiful beach and a quaint, pedestrian only village. There is a lovely coastal walk from here to l’Escala (a beautiful fishing village, specialising in sardines). This walk takes you past the entrance to the Roman ruins of Empuries (once the capital city of this area).
